Easy Card Tricks

If you are reading this, then you have probably been impressed David Blaine or some other person doing street magic tricks. You probably want to learn some easy card tricks to impress your friends. This article will help you do just that.

One thing that often discourages potential magicians is that they try to learn difficult tricks right away. Don’t be afraid to learn easy card tricks! Even David Blaine uses easy card tricks! He is just very good at presenting them well.

Presentation is a very big part of card tricks and magic in general. With good presentation skills, an easy trick can be made to look difficult or a difficult trick can be made to look easy. In order to hone your presentation skills, you must first master the trick you want to do. Follow every step of the directions. Practice over and over and over! Keep practicing the trick until you can do it with your eyes closed. Then practice in front of a mirror until you can fool yourself!

Watch other magicians– Actually, don’t watch them. Study them. Study how they present their tricks. See if you can pick out some easy card tricks they do and how they make these tricks appear difficult. Try to implement these methods into your own tricks and routines to make your easy card tricks appear to be more difficult, or even impossible!

After you learn a few card tricks, you will start to recognize certain components that are used a lot in most tricks– double lifts, triple lifts, trick shuffles, and different ways to force a card. Practice each of these components until you can do them effortlessly. You can use these tools to make up your own, original card tricks and routines. Soon, you’ll be out on the street performing card tricks for strangers!

In conclusion, remember even professional magicians use easy card tricks! It all comes down to practice and presentation. If you practice your tricks and present them well, you will become a great magician!
